How do you managed to get the water soluble gridding to come out if you don't mind me asking? I've had problems on two occasions - I've tried washing with cold water, and with warm water but the blue turns yellow and leaves yellow grid lines. Not great when you've done so much work.:(

And I was so pleased with the pen. I suspect it was also the length of time I left it on the fabric.

The pattern doesnt actually:( but I could just sew the blue back ground instead of leaving it blank - a real pain but it doesn't look that I have a choice. I'm quite worried - I used it on two other pieces and they seem fine - should I worry about the lines reappearing do you think?

I realise this is a very old thread but does anyone know if there is an update on this piece? I'm pretty new to the forum but found this and thought it was really beautiful and I'd love to see what the finished piece turned out like.
