I stitch anywhere I can
I have been known to stitch in the garden, in the car and just lately when visiting my husband in hospital. Unfortunately, he has spent far too much time in a hospital bed lately and I'm afraid there is more to come as he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. I've ...

Re: Hello from South East England
A little bit of background...
I was born in Malta (my Dad served in the Royal Navy) and then went home to Wales (my parents Country of birth) at around two years old. I consider myself Welsh first, second and last.
In 1982, the prospects of a better job (even if it was in England  ) meant ...

Re: Hello from South East England
Thank you so much Carole.
When I started it, I thought it would be a relatively quick project as the face is pretty much symmetrical. Little did I realise that there were eleven shades of yellow/gold in the face alone!
All in all, it took me months to finish.

Hello from South East England
Been stitching for a few years and finally decided to search for a cross stitch forum.
Really looking forward to getting to know people.
As soon as I figure out how to attach pictures, I will share a picture of my latest project.
