Re: Do you re-gift!!!!!

On the subject of regifting, I recall one year when the person I work for gave me a box of chocolates as a birthday gift. Only problem, the best before date was a week prior to my birthday so they were out of date when I got them.

Either she had got them in the buy me now at this stupid price ...

Re: Do you re-gift!!!!!

Yes I regifted for the first time earlier this year. I have a box in my spare room now where I store stuff bought over the year to give to people for birthdays and christmas. Included in my stash are a couple of items that have been given to me but which I will never use. I did a couple of years ...

Can anyone identify the manufacturer of the following item being sold on ebay. I am quite interested in it but want to try and find out the retail price before bidding again and bidding over and beyond it would cost me to buy new. !!

Re: The back of your designs

I am trying my hardest to keep the back of my work as neat as possible. Not only because it looks better but also for the more complicated kits, once you come to add the last few colours or do the backstitch, if the back is untidy, it is that much harder.

I was stitching a free tigger bookmark kit ...

Re: Has this ever crossed your mind...

I am an avid charity shop bargain hunter and I am always amazed when I see framed cross stitch work sat there for sale for just a few pounds. After someone has spent all that time on a project, how can they just give it away or if it has been given as a gift, why have they given it away???

I ...
