Did anybody used "thread heaven" and does it work?

Hi everybody! Thank you for your help. I have a problem with some of DMC floss.
Black(310), Ebony(3371),Teak brown(898),etc... Threads have like little hairs coming
off it. I dont know what to do. If I use a lint roller, it pools all the stithes up.
Help!!

Is it possible to calculate how much floss I need? I know how many stitches of each
color is needed and I have a count of Aida cloth(8). Is there a formula for that?

Hi everybody! I decided to buy a cross stitch stand ( a birthday present to myself).

Can't make up my mind on which one. Suggestions anyone? Thank you!
