got it finished last night - now just to iron and frame it

Oh dear indeed,
I am stitching an anniversary sampler for my mum & dads 40th, i got into a rhythm when dong the border so thought to myself i don't need the pattern - bad mistake. I picked up the sampler tonight to do the names and wondered why i had a lot of space either side, i had stitched two ...

I started off stitching with anchor because it was the only brand my local shop sold so i've stuck with it for years. I have some DMC threads and as others have said there is not really that big of a difference, its down to personal choice

:D 14/18 ctAida in any colour, have stitched in evenweave and linen but i take the easy option

another bobbin girl here, i use the floss bags when doing a large project. I also have a little tin with leftover thread from kits which always comes in handy (well you never know when your going to need thread for just a couple of stitches and it saves me cutting my bobbin- stingy i know)

New member here, I've been stitching for around 20 years and love stitching all sorts of different designs.
I'm currently in the middle of an ice hockey design which is full of white and blue, so its testing my patience a bit
