Looking for framing ideas
I made four pictures using cross stitch and stippling paint through a template from a pattern in Cross Stitcher magazine about 13 years ago. Silverwork, my new hobby
I have just finished a weekend silverwork course, and I'm stunned at how quickly you can get decent results. I'll be back as soon as there's another course and in the meantime I have the components ready to make a charm bracelet at home.
Can't wait for more!

Re: Pattern Making Programs
I've enjoyed reading this thread. I use Jane Greenhoff's CrossStitch Pattern Creator 2 (version 1.0). I've been thinking about upgrading recently, but on the whole I really like what I have and would be a bit scared of losing it. The main issues, and the reasons I am considering an update, are ...

Re: Hello from Finnish Lapland
Hello and welcome from South Carolina. So glad that you found us. And you will definitely found all the encouragement you want (and maybe more!) from us. I have learned and tried more new things in the months I have been here than in all the years before, I think.
Love to see photos of your work too ...

Hello from Finnish Lapland
Hi,
I'm a Brit who has lived in Finnish Lapland for the last four years. I'm new to the forum but not to stitching - I've been working from counted cross stitch kits on and off for many years. The largest thing I've ever stitched was a Disney Winnie-the-Pooh height chart for my niece, which took me ...
