Re: My Skitzzzzz chart: True Love Update5/20/12

It's stitching up fast. I started on Pg 2 since Pg 1 is all black.

I thought of another idea for a title. How about "True Love"

When I went into the stitching shop, I found one package of 18 count white mis-stocked with the 25 ...

Re: My Skitzzzzz chart: needs a cool title

a few quick questions:
My local stitching shop doesn't have white 18 count right now, How would this pattern look if I went with a 22 or 25 count and did tent stitches? This pattern has some blended threads, so I have to do 2 threads, and I think that would be too much to do full crosses on 25 count

My Skitzzzzz chart: True Love Update10/4/14

Skitzzzzz worked her tail off on this pattern for me. It is going to be stitched on 18 count 2 over 1. and will be 10" X 14.25" it has 76 colors, including 3 blended colors. She took out the people in the background, so it is just solid black now.

The bride is my sister, but she looks just like me ...

I had to change the gate. The original design violated my sense of perspective. I think it looks better now, not perfect, but better than before.

I don't like the coverage I got on this one. It's so cute though, I might have to stitch it again to get better coverage

how do you mount and frame your finished pieces?

I use the Pres-on Self Stick mounting board most of the time. It works OK if the piece does not need to be stretched into shape. I have tried lacing, but I guess I wasn't doing it right, because I had a very hard time with it.

I am already thinking about how I am going to frame Miss Hathaway's ...
