Hmm so stitching has been a little bit on the back burner lately, as I've been completely obsessed with crochet :roll:

However, when the mood did strike I started a new project; I'm 11 pages in Rose, by Love Thy Thread. Stitched with anchor 403 on Sparklies 32ct lugana Monarch.

:applesauce: :applesauce: Both of these are beautiful. Persephone is fantastic. I love how the colors stand out in front of that beautiful wall paper. And your Fleur de Lys is lovely. Are you using two different varigated threads?? I think they are perfect together.

Well I managed to put down my crochet hook long enough to give Persephone a face and more wallpaper.
I did change her eyebrow, didn't like the original one. I like this one much better, it makes her face softer :)

I ended up gifting the tigers to my parents for Christmas, my mom was in awe of the thousands of teeny tiny stitches :)

After this finish I moved on to crochet for a while, and alternated that with Mini Lady of the Flowers (HAED). I finished page 2 ...

If it's long enough to reuse, it goes back on the bobbin. DMC costs an arm and a leg here, so I tend to be stingy with it.

The short ones go all year long in a clear glass jar that has permanent residence on the fireplace mantel. I love looking at the layers of color all year long :)

Stitched 2 over 1 tent on 28 count. I added one row of black stitches all around to make it look more "finished".

Congrats Amanda, it's a beautiful start. I'm really looking forward to seeing your progress and I'm ever so thankful that you are such a speedy stitcher with a small WIP list I've had this one in my stash for a while but was concerned about the finished look. Thanks

I might have totally gone off the deep end but I am very very very tempted. I love colors, I love books, I love fantasy themes. Everything is here and it would be the achievement of a lifetime...

The finished size is huge though, and framing it would probably bring the need for reinforced walls and ...

I have a new start to show you: Nora Corbett's Sweet Pea pixie, on a 32 count opal solo from Silkweaver. The fabric is a bit hard to photograph, it always turns out greyish when it's actually a lovely pale mauve:
