I fancied a change from my forever friends garden swing so thought I would start this kit also

This one is quite weird for me to do actually. Its on 16 count (I have only ever used 14) and I only use one strand of thread whereas normally its 2

i find this a bit weird as i have always used 2 strands even on 18ct how is the coverage. i have never found using to strands bulky in any way. cant wait to see photos as its just too cute for words

I have had alot of time on my hands this evening and really enjoy doing this
I am actually enjoying doing the bs on this one, think its because im doing it bit by bit

Good idea to do the backstitch as you go along -- this way it comes to life from the very start!

You definatly need to do the backstitch on popcorn as you go! I have 3 in my stash and I haven't done them yet as just the sight of the backstitch intimidated me! THough I might dig them out after seeing how cute yours is
