I found your board over the weekend, and I'm very impressed! You all seem so friendly and helpful. I'm a transplant from England--been living in Massachusetts for over 10 years now. In the past I have done a little cross stitch, but it was very simple stuff. I'm just now getting back into it, and I know I'm going to have some questions. I have one already, but I'm not sure which forum would be best.
Anyway, thanks for having me. I look forward to spending time here.
Hiya and welcome to the forum I'm a relative newbie here too but everyone made me really welcome you'll fit in straight away! Anything you need to know, just ask away, someone here will be able to help

Oh good another newbie to welcome into the fold. It is wonderful that you were able to find us. Hope we can help and that you will feel like part of the family very soon.
If you are looking for some one to help change you, look in the mirror
Hello!! I'm a transplant too, I'm an aussie that's been living in UK for bout 10 years in total, but everybody's "at home" on this forum, I'm really pleased you found us, we love new people!!
Wow--more welcome posts! Thanks, everyone. My most recent English home was in Hertfordshire, within commuting distance of London. Before that I moved around all over England and grew up more in Ireland (Cork) than England, so I'm a bit of a hybrid. Hubby and I got the wander-bug and decided to make a big change 10 years ago, so here we are!
