Kezzy's Sepia German Shepherd Dog SAL

Post by Kezzy »

I started on this over two years ago and only did about 200 stitches then put it away. Since I have got back into cross stitch (Feb this year) I thought I would get it out again however as this forum is so corrupt (i.e. encouraging us to start new projects when we are in the middle of another!! ) I have not got as far as I had hoped.

The photos show the final picture and my progress so far. The picture is so like our own dog so I really do want to finish it.

Will update as I go along :)

Thats a lovely picture I like German Shephards with longer hair! My neighbours when I was small kept german shephards they were so friendly although I would never have wanted to be a burglar on their property!

Don't get me wrong ladies, I AM going to finish this one, now it's starting to develop and I can see the face details it's pushing me to go on, nearly finished the first page of four.

Our own dog is female called Charley and she often has her tongue hanging out like the one in the project :)

Thanks for all your encouragement, it's what keeps us all going on our projects
