Hannah's SAL

Post by hiceskater »

Ok, guys, I need some motivation to get me back to stitching properly again! I found a small kit to try first of all, and see where that takes me. It's a DMC kit, and, well, here's what it'll hopefully look like when it's finished...

Image

Started a little bit of it, and so far, this is what I've got...

Image

Not the best picture ever, was taken on my phone because my camera appears to have gone walkabout at the moment, but there we go.

Maybe it's just my fiance being weird, but he's just pointed out to me that it slightly resembles an elephant at the moment!

No your fiance is not weird (well he is really because he is of that species) but I can see what he means. I love making different shapes out of what I am stitching.

Well done on the good start and I hope that it does the trick and drags you back into stitching more and more.

Thanks guys :) Haven't been able to do anymore to it yet because life, and general health seem to have gotten in the way somewhat. But as a result of that, I'm itching to get back to stitching it once everything else is sorted out, so I'm taking that as a good sign, every cloud and all that. So, yeah, hopefully I'll be able to get back to it sometime soon!
