I go for the small and medium sized projects. If something appeals to me I will stitch it. I then have the problem of what to do with the finished stitching. One can only make so many cards and coasters!
Much of the Framecraft stuff for mounting stitching is quite expensive. And I can't sew very well.
Any ideas?

Bookmarks, ornaments, pomanders? Any of those ideas any good? Or you could do them as hangings instead of framing them...

If you go to the General Section and look for the Internet Sites Post there are a bunch of links to other sites. There are a few links to sites that show you how to finish your stitched patterns. Hope that helps
If you are looking for some one to help change you, look in the mirror

Re: What to do with my finished stitching
If they are square you can turn them into biscornus, which if you fill them with lavender (or cinnamon if you're so inclined) make lovely sachets for wardrobes (and hence lovely presents); or you could back them and make them into Christmas tree or other ornaments; or you could get a plain wooden tea tray (I'm thinking of one at John Lewis) and mount it in that (covered with perspex or glass); or hem them and use them as doilies or decorative runners. If I think of anything else I'll post again!

Thank you. I have been reading about Biscornu and looking at charts for them. I never thought about using something I had stitched already. I will give it a try.
