Finally got my bobbin rings and the fat quarter of 18ct aida that I was waiting for.

My only issue now is that I have enough stash to potentially start yet another project  My new dolphin project is already calling out to me, even though I'm only about 15-20% thru the Evening Star train

Have fun with the cake decorating class! I took 2 classes when I was in 6th grade, and my mom and I have been doing cakes since. In fact, we did the wedding cake when I got married.

I got loads of goodies this morning!

The peacock chart from Mabel (many thanks, it's gorge, can't wait to start!), my issue of Cross Stitcher and a book of Victorian posies and fans (someone on here was talking about it and I just had to have it!).

Also, I have bought a plain white cushion cover on to which I'm going to sew the Chinese phoenix, which is nearly done!

Glad it arrived safely, Gemma, enjoy!

I got 5 DMC floche threads (the ones Carrie uses for overdyeing) from Hedgehog Handworks, and they included a complementary retractable tape measure -- which I thought was a lovely gesture with such a small order!

The postman delivered a present from Rosemary for my grandaughter Rebecca. It included several pieces of material in different colours, skiens of thread and some needles. She is one very happy little girl. Thanks again Rosemary for your very thoughtful gift. :D :D :D

Yes and no -- I'd ordered a pendant from Framecraft to put my silk gauze rose in, and that arrived, but the silvery stuff on it was all damaged :-( so I've contacted them about that.

But there was also a leaflet with quick and rather pretty stained glass designs for Christmas cards, and some more Carrie's silks from Holland

me thinks framecraft have something with you mabel @rotfl: weren't your bookends from them??

i got some replacement cake bags. i ordered gold, they sent silver, i became bridezilla  they said they would send me some gold out, asked if they want me to return the silver, no reply, the gold arrived this morning, sent them a message saying ive recieved the gold and asked again if they want me to return the silver, but still no response, but they are Australian so they are tucked up in bed so i'll wait for a bit, and ask them again, and if they dont reply, then ill keep them

I finally got my other two pieces of dyed fabric from an ebay seller. As an apology for the late mailing the guy gave me a bigger cut of one of the fabrics. Oh the possibilities. :D
