Thank you for your welcome back. I am currently not stitching anything as my life at home has become extremely busy, with no time to stitch. Something I can only dream about at the moment. Still working on "Spring Frost" I think an Australian piece of artwork from long ago. Hopefully soon I will be able to pull my x stitch out from the cupboard again. I hope I remember to know how to do it still.

Hello! Welcome back, I'm new since you were here so I look forward to getting to know you. Where are you in Australia? I live in the UK now, but I was born in Toowoomba QLD, but spent childhood in Cessnock, NSW before moving back to QLD as a teenager.
I hope you're able to get some time to yourself sooner rather than later to do some stitching and relaxing, sounds like you deserve it!!
I'm new since you've been away too, but a big welcome back!
I know what you mean about trying to find time to stitch. I aim for about an hour a day sitting in front of the tv in the evening, but it doesn't always work that way. My projects grow quite slowly.
Hope you find time again soon!
A stitch in time is my idea of a perfect day!
Connie
Thanks everyone,
This is really a great group. When this forum first started i was in here everyday. If you read back through the early archives you will see how everyone was/is so friendly and helpful. Its great to be back.

I very understand you about no time for x-stitching. I have work and after that busy at home to make dinner and check my daughters homework and many other mom’s and wife’s things to do. But I use every little free minute to stitch. I forget time when I could spend all evening to stitch and finish picture for a week. Now I spend several month for that. But I still have fun and good rest if I can spend for favorite things even 15 minutes in a day.
