Its looking beautiful.

30? I can assure you, it was a wonderful time. Although I can hardly remember it, it was so long ago. And I still feel young - perhaps I shouldn't???

such a pretty picture, and a lovely gift for your GGMa,

What book is the design in? Lily's are my second fav flower and I'd love to add this to my wish list of projects... :)

It's one of the motifs in Donna Kooler's 555 Cross Stitch Sampler Motifs. I totally <3 the book - the samplers are just wonderful, and each comes with so many extra motifs for mixing and matching, or making seperate pieces!! I definitely consider it one of my wiser investments (esp since I bought it online and didn't even know what was inside till I got it!).

Progress as of last night...

...almost done!! :) I have to finish the lavender border and fill the background with brown, then wash and frame....can't believe this one is almost complete

This is lovely, I'd love to see her face when you give it to her, I bet she'll be over the moon with it.

I'll see if I can get someone to take a pic of "the giving of the gift" @rotfl: If such a thing occurs, I'll make sure to post for you guys to see! :)
