Yes the backstitch really makes them stand out, doesn't it? Great progress!

Oh? Is that a Lowery workstand?

Do you like it?

I'm thinking of asking for one for Christmas to replace my current normal wooden floor stand. I can't help thinking that flipping the side must be easier than flipping the top when working on normal scroll frames. Plus I think it will be more adjustable and more comfortable to work on especially as I can have the stand to my side instead of in front of me (if that makes sense).

I'm hoping to go to the Knitting and Stitching Show at Ally Pally in October and hopefully try one out (someone must exhibit them surely?).

:D Hi Helbel,

Yes it is a Lowery and its the best thing that i have ever bought. I had a wooden front one before and this is 10 times better. I wouldn't be wthout it ! It is out all the time but as it is at the side it does not get in the way. I had to get a longer horizontal bar for it to reach over the arm of the sofa but with this it is great. I looked around for ages and am delighted with my choice. I don't like scroll frames much as I feel that the frame gets in the way also I'm not keen on large frames so I use the 11 inch clip frame and move it about for large projects!

Good luck with trying one I hope you are as happy with it as I am. :D

I'd love to try this one for my cat-mad step daughter, but judging by the grid lines this is one huge project...

Well done, I LOOOVE it!! :applesauce:
