I've just started mine and I'm finding it a bit infuriating at times, it's my first time using 3 strands and I feel that 2 would have sufficed. I'm plodding on though as it's for someone at work (who, disappointingly, didn't seem too impressed with my work today when I showed her my progress, she's complaining it's too small when it's to scale in comparison with the chart as I'm doing it on 14ct aida ) and I just want it done so I can get back to my peacock.
I saw a great idea for piece that are too big for a card but not really big enough for framing or cushions. You still make it into a cushion sew two loops into it on diagonally opposite corners. You then hang it from a door handle one loop each side of the door. If the door is prone to swinging shut it stops it from slamming and the door being damaged. I thought it was a fantastic idea.
So pretty, I love all the shades of pink. If it was mine I would probably just frame it, I'm not all that adventurous I hope you think of something nice to do with it, post an update when you have finished!
If not I can lend you mine (the chart, that is, not the whole magazine as I haven't got that anymore) -- I won't stitch it for some time anyway, it's on my To Do list but right at the bottom !
Oh, thank you, Mabel, I'll remember that if I can't find the mag.
Now seeing Kell's finished blossoms on the pale pink fabric, I love both - maybe if I stitch one on dark fabric and one on pale and make the two into a little reversible cushion with pot pourri in and whip stitch the edges together. Hmmmmmm.
Darn, why do I already have so many projects on the go and keep finding more and more I'm desperate to start?

This is so pretty!! And I love that dark pink aida although the lighter pink is beautiful too, I wouldn't have been able to decide between them!
I am very unimaginative with my projects, I always just put them up on the wall, usually un-framed
