Thanks everyone! I had a bad stomach bug this past weekend and didn't get any stitching in but I was checking out page 2 and it looks like I get to stitch chessie's ears! YAY! Some bright blues will be a nice change from all that purple

I was gonna post this in the UFO thread but have decided that I am going to continue stitching on Chessie for awhile because I am enjoying stitching it again. I made really great progress on this since I picked it back up on July 31st. Page 2 is a little over half way done and this is where I am at now:



And a pic of the whole thing:



Looks like a lot of random stitches but this page had a lot more color changes than I realized at first. In the top right corner, you can see the moon starting to form. It has about 14 different colors in it and then down at the right bottom corner where you see the little blob of blue, that is actually the start of Chessie..once I get to page 3 a lot more of Chessie will start to appear!

Oh and that moon about nearly made me chuck this thing across the room..I had to frog the darn thing twice because I was off by one row of stitches and although I probably could of left it the way it was, my perfectionist side wouldn't let it be so I had to rip it all out..so I really would have had a lot more progress than this if it wasn't for that darn

Wow great to see this one again, I love the shading on that branch and it'll be great to see more of the moon and Chessie too! Sorry you felt like throwing it across the room though - but I agree, I would have had to frog until it was right again as I'm not so convinced you can leave things without everything further on from it also being wrong!

So after I stitch up a little more tonight, I will officially have hit the 10% done mark on Chessie! Pics to come soon (just as soon as I figure out where the heck I put my camera phone..it went MIA over the weekend)

I wasn't going to update this until I finished page 2 but the confetti stitches really are taking me forever so I took a pic last night of where I am at...as you can see I am really really close to finishing page 2. The moon has around 15 or so colors in it and that blob of blue at the bottom which is part of Chessie has another 15 or so different colors in it.
