Vani's WIP***FINISHED***

Post by Vani »

This is what I am working on currently. When I joined the forum, this was where I was in my project. I call it Hot Wheels Monster Truck. I used my PM stitch maker to convert the image. My son is a huge fan of HotWheels so I thought to make this for him.

This looks great so far. Both my boys were in to hot wheels when they were younger and I could recognize the logo as soon as I saw the picture. Can't wait to see it grow.

Thanks for all the kind words, I hope to put up another picture soon. Not much more to go. Since I went by colour this time, just four more colours to go. Although I skipped a dark green colour, that will be filling up all the dark spaces and fill up the outer edge of the design. I only get to work on it in the evenings after the kids are gone to bed, if i'm not too tired. My kids are 6 and 4, so they keep me on my toes. I wish I could bring it to work, Imagine the fun that would be!!! Its getting to the point that you know the end is near, you can see the light at the end of the tunnell, but don't want to rush, incase you fudge it all up. So I move onwards, with the next project in my mind. My daughter wants Princesses! I'm hoping that will be nice and colourful!

I love it so far! Hot Wheels rock! My son was into the collectable cars from the Cars movie... oh dear we went a bit insane when his daddy was deployed lol. I think I bought one or two a few days after my hubby deployed and he had about 60 of them to show off before Daddy even had his sea bag in the door lol. I can't wait to see the finished project!

And stitching at work is the best! That's where I get most of my stitching done

Wow this looks complicated, but those bright colors will keep you from getting bored!
I love modern designs, they challenge the idea that cross stitch is for the oldies

Hi guys, here is the latest on my project, I like the added blue. Not much more to go though. most of the space left is all one dark green color which has me a little concerned, we'll see!
