Back from my trip to Florence I saw a big package in my mail box: it was a gift from Future publishing for my review in this month's Cross stitcher. There were a DMC thread cutter, a small Anchor Disney quickie kit, a set of lovely brads for card making, a set of deep red ribbons, a DMC hoop frame, a box of purple fabric flowers and four Madeira threads (I love them!)

That's a lovely book, I'm contemplating a purchase, meanwhile I'm waiting for a Christmas ideas book (it should arrive in two or three days)

today has been very productive with the postman, although he is still to produce more stash coming from USA so wont be hear for probably another 7 days at least.

Firstly, i recieved a "special offer" from weight watchers - note to weight waters - i rang you and told you I had weight loss surgery and dont need your mail anymore. ya didn't listen...

secondly, I got a letter from HSBC in UK to say they had frozen my bank account as I hadn't used it for 2 years. Note to HSBC - the difference between Demeber 2004 and September 2009 in Australia is roughly almost 5 years. I have tried to ring HSBC to close this account dowm with no luck. I am struggling to under Peter, Paul, John and his mates in their deep indian accents. I can;'t ring 1800 numbers for UK from Australia. So glad that minor problem is now resolved.

and finally the most important thing of all - STASH

the kitty bow stitch I won on UK ebay kindly posted by Midge  to me arrived...and what a good day to arrive. I am in DEEP trouble with the cat, it was raining, i was tired, i went to bed, i fell asleep and I didn't wake up to let kitty in. Kitty was highly unimpressed, meowed her snappy meow for over 20 minutes to inform me of her anger. However, I showed her the bow and she has since been quiet and gone to sleep
Current WIP's

Barb - I have a great Idea for you kitty's xmas pressy (to save the "you left me outside " claims) It is called Pet Porte Its a fab cat flap that scans your kittys micro chip so that it only lets in your cat (up to 12 can be set) Also you can set it so that as it gets dark it only lets the cat in and not out. We have foxs in our garden and I was worried that they may chase the cats in. But the light detecting senser has saved me many evenings entertaining the neighbour by going around the garden shouting "Teddy Bear" "Truffle" How embarrassing ! :mexicanwave:

I cant get me kitty a cat flap as all my doors have a security door on them as well. So each doorway of the house, 4 in total from the outside to the inside, has 2 doors...a total of 8 doors and the windows are the same.

I wish I could, although I must admit I do burn a number of calories opening and closing the door a million times a day.

Really glad you like it Silvia :D

I finally got around to going to the sorting office today to pick up a parcel the postie tried to deliver over the weekend - thought it might be something stitchy, I couldn't have been more wrong, it was *ahem* underwear! (I have to buy online to get anything big enough for my generous feminine attributes!)
WIPs:
Snow Princess and the Polar Bear HAED

Plans:
Twinkle twinkle cushion for nephew's third birthday (September 2015)
Man U crests for husband and brother-in-law
