HAED Julie Fain's Pixie Dust *update 31.10.2010*

Post by dragon »

I started this one 2 weeks ago, not much to look at so far, only black and two shades of dark blue - but it will grow
Image
I´m stitching it on lightblue 28 count fabric, 1 over 1 full x.
And this is what it will look like when its finished.

@kerbear879, Julie Fain is my favorite too, at first, I simply could not decide which one of her designs I want to do. I really love The Dreamer, but it has 90 colors, so for my first try, I decided to go for Pixie Dust, because it has only 31 colors.

Yeah the Dreamer is my favorite and I plan on doing it eventually. I am also working on Catch a Falling Star which only has 14 colors!

Only 14 colors? Wow. And it looks really good.
Mayby we can do the Draemer together sometime in the future (when I´m brave enough for the 90 color challenge  )

Great design, can't wait to watch it grow. How big will the finished project be, what's the stitch count?

Great start and I too love this design - all of the Pixie series in fact. When picking out my first HAED designs, I steered away from these because I just could not choose. If you have room for another - would love to join in 'The Dreamer' stitch along.

@Imme, its not too big, 14w x11h on 25 count, so mine will be a little bit smaller on 28 count. 96250 stitches in total.

@JenEric, your welcome to join in, but I want to finish my Storykeep first, so it will take a while. I thought about to get it as sort of Christmas present for myself :thinks:

Lovely progress so far and well done on tackling it 1 over 1 on 28 ct - I'm doing the same on my current project and I know how small the stitches are :D
