Baltimore, MD Patterns

Hi All,

My sister really wants me to cross stitch her a Baltimore, MD themed picture (whatever that means!)...but I can't seem to find one anywhere! I can find only the Orioles or the Ravens, which just won't cut it. I can settle for a Maryland themed patterns but I can only find the Maryland map (which my mother did some years ago, so that's out of the question too).

Basically, I just need something with crabs, the Chesapeake, the Baltimore Harbor, Batimore landmarks, the MD flag, or things of the like.

Can anyone please help me???

About all I can think of is something to do with the Harbor. There must be something with the ship they've got down there.......which name is escaping me right now. I think there is a stitching store in the area, they might have something you could order. Try google maps/find a business. I know there is one is the Wilmington area, they might have something too.

perhaps you could google some images and then make a pattern? i haven't had luck finding anything not sports related.

I was going to suggest that you do something with a lighthouse but Jessica already gave you that link. you could use it as the focal point and then add small motifs around the edges. I have seen free crabs and beach stuf on some of the different websites. I don't know much about Baltimore other then the football team, but you could add a football and the baseball as a small motif.

Just some suggestions. Hope it will help.
