I've got a HAED!

I took the plunge and got a HAED while the sale is on. http://www.heavenandearthdesigns.com/in ... cts_id=103

I'm stitching it two over two on 18-ct Aida because I tried 22-ct Hardanger but I didn't like the fabric: it seemed "stretchy" and I don't think my eyes will take anything smaller!

No photos yet as the camera (as ever) is unavailable!

That's very pretty! What is the stitch count, I couldn't find it on the site? It looks like a relatively small design -- for a HAED... -- so 18ct should be fine; are you sure you mean over two though? That might make it a bit chunky (though it might look rather good as a chunky wall hanging at that count)

I had the same problem as you..tried 22ct and realized I hated it so I do all mine on 18ct now!

Lovely design and great progress - I've succumbed to the HAED site too but I think it might be a little while until I start it - unless of course I break my one project at a time rule....
