A lovely card from Rose, thank you  !

Also WOXS and Cross Stitcher -- I loved the gift that came with Cross Stitcher this month, a pretty little tin with a magnet in the lid for some stitching bits and bobs, I've immediately filled it for use in my new handbag projects (two little samplers on linen using linen threads). The charts and fabric are in a resealable bag, but the tin is perfect for the threads, thread cutter and needles!

I SO want that issue. I think I shall curl up and die if I dont get it. It's not out here yet and my local newsagency only gets about 5 copies. The other newsagency gets about the same and the previous issue only came out yesterday and there was only 2 left..AGH..... I want the Margaret Sherry kitchen xstitch pattern for tea towel and pot holder for me!! I have the towels and potholders and these would be the best patterns.

I may just subscribe as a birthday present to myself, although I wonder if you still get the free gifts as an overseas subscriber.

Oh, and I want that snow. I love watching it on televsion. You are so lucky...the grass is always whiter on the other side of the fence.

Barb, if you're happy to pay postage I could buy it for you here and send it -- I don't think the overseas copies come with gifts that are a bit bulky, so this may well be replaced by something else. Let me know whether you'd like me to get it for you when it hits the shops!

Angel got cross stitcher and a heart attack from the council.

Angel loves the pretty little tin and thinks she should get some hot chocolate and settle down with the magazine for some R&R.

Angel also thinks the council shouldn't send out letters demanding over 500 quid if they don't actually have any record of debt on their records.

My order from Sewandso that I placed on Sunday. How's that for fast delivery at Xmas? I got a plastic 6x6 frame to try because you all say they are so great to use. Hope I don't like it too much or I'll have to buy bigger ones as well.....
