I know what you mean. I am job hunting, too... but lately I've had no luck and stitched a lot in my spare time...

Have decided I will be taking part next month to MAKE myself complete Patently Obvious. I am 90% of the way there but have fallen out of love with the little project and have set it aside. UFO week will be perfect to get it finished.

Just wanted to let everyone know I'm doing my UFO this week, took tatty to Bangkok and managed to stitch a little on the flights and at the airports, gonna spend the next few days getting some more done and then post an update pic. For how tatty looked at the beginning of the month there are pics in my SAL thread here http://www.crossstitchforum.com/viewtop ... =Tatty+Ted" target="_blank

well done to everyone who have been working in their WIPs this week, look forward to seeing the end of week updates :)

I won't be participating again this month. I am trying to finish up the model that has really grown lately. I guess I can be off the hook since I will be kitting up a UFO to keep at my mom's while I'm at her house 4-5 hours a day in a few weeks with my grandmother. :D

I am actually working on 2 UFO's this week I am stitching my snowmen and I am working on the pattern of the AOY's pattern to do for my brothers gift. I have actually found 2 different patterns that I like but I want to combine them to make into one big pattern it is actually very fun going. :D :D

OK, I need some serious prodding! My goal for this week was to finish Mountain Bluebird. I finished the stitching on Mon/Tues, and started the dreaded backstitch. I'm a reluctant backstitcher at the best of times, and this kit has 18 different colors of backstitch!   The full pattern is 6 pages. 5 of those pages have a small picture of the full pattern on the back, with 2-3 different colors of backstitch on each page. Then there are another 5 colors on the 6 pages of stitching charts. YIKES! I've done 15 of the 18 colors...and am definitely not motivated to do the last 3. However, I'm afraid that if I don't finish it today, it will go back on the UFO pile for another year and a half.

So, if anyone can think of a really good reason why I absolutely must finish this today, please share! So close to done...must find motivation...must not switch to something else...

Progress updated for "Kokopelli Christmas" I think this will take a couple of UFO week to finish since it is quite a big design.
