ABC Sampler

Need your help, want to put names under the animals in an ABC sampler. The pattern was designed by Ursula Michaels and comes out of a Cross Stitch Magazine No. 40. Please has anyone got this copy and if so could you please help me with the names of the animals. Waiting in anticipation

Do you really think it is a mouse. It seems to have claws or such, holding on to the ball. I thought it might be a mole - any other thoughts. I know someone will be able to give us the right animal. At the moment my granddaughter is too young to know, but one day ....

Second thoughts I think it is a moth - the orange bit the body, and the green the wings ?
