Someone needs to take my credit card....

Post by kimkat_tkl »

...away from me!

15 mins after I received an email from one of my favourite online stores saying that they were having 20% their entire Country Threads range for the month of May, I had another 3 kits bought (and another 3 decided on for next fortnights pay... )

I hear you all saying so? (it's just more stash... )

Well I have a confession: My name is Tracy and I'm addicted to Country Threads :D

There have been 96 designs released in the Country Threads range and I currently own 1 chart and 57 kits (not including the 3 I've just ordered and the 3 I will order).

I will say though that I'll never own every single design - there are currently about 24 that just don't appeal to me.

I've have managed to complete 10 so far and am slowly working on Wildflowers.

Yep, I'll join you on the credit card give away. I've spent more money today, I think the mailman delivering my last order tipped me into another spending spree ..... I have to keep thinking of creative ways to hide it from hubby ;)

I am like that with the All Our Yesterdays range. The only ones that I do not have are the ones that I just do not like.

:silenced: I'm saying nothing!!

Actually I will!! Since joining this forum I've never wanted to buy so many charts, threads and material in my life!! I blame everyone for showing me so many beautiful designs and projects and introducing me to so many new sites .... and blame myself for being so easily corrupted!!

I'll happily take your credit card, but you might find you get a big bill at the end of the month and discover I've done some stash acquisitioning of my own - LOL!

I'm generally safe with charts, and absolutely safe with kits, but my weakness is... THREADS! (and to a slightly lesser extent, fabrics). I'm going to have a non-stash-buying period now, though, as I need what money I have to go to London to meet up with my best friend who lives in Holland and is coming to London for a few days with another friend of ours, and also to pay for my New Stitches subscription (which I suppose is stash in a way). Also, I'm saving up for the Knitting and Stitching show in October, when I intend to do lots of workshops and go stash mad :-)

I have finally come to grips with my stash buying (only after the last purchase of 150 leaflets via eBay). I am allowing myself a certain dollar amount per week. Otherwise I have to wait. If I didn't do that I would likely starve :D

Its actually a debit card - I don't plan on ever owning an actual credit card (way too dangerous) so I can only spend money I actually have in my account so no big suprises at the end of the month! :D

I use to love going into a bookstore (or visiting Amazon) and spending all my money there. Since I've joined here I haven't bought that many books but I've bought A WHOLE LOT of stash. But I'm not complaining. Now if someone could find a way to help me live to 300 years old I might be able to get it all done......that is if I don't buy any more. And my weakness is fabrics and HAED charts.
