Re: UFO Club (1st - 7th every month)
I was planning to work on my folk pattern again, but decided to make some cards for the cancer charity instead, so I am not taking part in UFO week this month.

Hi, I hope its ok if I post here as I haven't written on this forum for ages
, I decided to go back to uni. to do my Masters degree and the amount of work has been manic, much more than I expected. I have still be able to stitch but not been able to come on the forum, so I will update my thread with finished pictures tomorrow, but I have a UFO that has been left for six months now that I would like to finish. It is a picture of dolphins in the sea, I don't have a picture of the finished article because it was a chart sent for free when I ordered a kit from a site. The below picture shows my progress as of the beginning of this week, The length is the total of the picture but it is probably only a fifth of its width:

I'm hoping to get a bit done on my HUG cushion, the goal is to get the border extended to cover where the U goes, and get the outline of the U done as well. Have a few other things that need doing too so don't wanna aim too high for this week.

Re: UFO Club (1st - 7th every month)

This is the start of my "Let's Bounce" from Disney. I stitched a small section and put is aside a couple of months ago and decided to pick it up and give it a go.

One of my oldest UFO - "Herd of Elephants" which I started last year...decided to add this to my UFO rotation.

I am also working on Just Nan - "Snow Faces" with my UFO projects. I think I am having trouble staying with one project until finished..... I seem to be jumpy around alot this past week. I did managed to finished one of my biscornu though.

Re: UFO Club (1st - 7th every month)
Hi, am going away tomorrow so I am posting my UFO progress tonight. I have enjoyed working on this one again, it has large blocks of one colour so it progresses quite fast. However, I have spent most of the week frogging the bright blue in the top of the sea. I needed a new skein of this colour but when it arrived it is a slightly different colour. I guess it is to do with batches? I have always used DMC and never had this problem before! Never mind, it did not take too long to replace it (I still have a little to redo at the top), so not too bad. Anyway progress piccy (as of 7/6/10):

Happy Stitching everybody and hope UFO week went well.

I feel really lucky to be doing it. I would never have thought I was capable and had just intended to do an undergraduate degree, but it went really well and my tutors thought I could do it. I am really enjoying it (I am studying English), however, it is a lot of work all of which is reading.Good luck with UFO week this week... Your masters! That sounds pretty impressive!

Re: UFO Club (1st - 7th every month)
Oh wow lots of great progress!!!!!
Un fortunately my progress was quite small because so much other stuff had to be dealt with. But I will work on it a bit more tonight and then post pictures in the Snowman thread.

Re: UFO Club (1st - 7th every month)
That is great progress, well done
Here is where I got up too:

I'm actually going to carry on doing this, just for this week for two reasons:
1. The anniversary is in August, so need to push on
2. The Map I'm working on is also a present, and my F-i-L is coming across next weekend so I need to keep it hidden from him, so it is easier just to keep this one out for another week

Is that a wedding anniversary present? If it is, it looks gorgeous.
