Here are mine
Fave Colours: Blue, Purple, Green and Red
Threads: Regular DMC & Krenik #4 braid
Fabric: 28 count Jobelan, Lugana and Cashel
Patterns: Fantasy, realistic flowers, cats
Kits: Gosh I hate kits! It's the floss sorting that drives me crazy, that and I rarely like the fabric in them.
Things I would like to try - More beading! A Teresa Wentzler again now that I have more experience.
I also make scissor fobs.

Re: Forum Bio's
Okay I'm going to give this a try.
Fav Colors:
Blue, Greens, or Dark Red.
Threads:
Dmc mostly.
Hate all Rayons
Fabrics:
I've mostly worked with Aida but I like the evenwaeve (poor eyesight though LOL).
Hate Linen!
Kits:
If they catch my fancy or making them for someone.
Charts:
Wolves, Marine Life, Fantasy, Celtic, Cats.
Religious (yes I know what my SAL is), Nationalist, Cartooney
Hate stamped cross stitch. Right now leaning towards disliking all baby stitching as well LOL.
Would like to try
Blackwork.
Stitching items:
Frames!!!
Bobbins.
Needles (I'm always losing them)
Collects:
Charts and books. Just got ten more at a yard sale for a dollar a piece.
I also crochet and always collecting yarn. However I'm avoiding purple, pink, and yellow. Too many people had babies and everyone wanted me to make blankets and all of them turned out to be girls. I never want to see those yarn colors again!

Fav Colors:Love all colors, but after working a piece that focuses on certain shades, I really enjoy going to the opposite end of the spectrum for the next piece.
Dreaded colors: White and varying shades of it...unless worked on a dark fabric.
Fav Threads: DMC primarily
Dreaded Threads: Metallics
Want to try threads: Variegated and silks, might give another go to the metallics now that I know there's other types available.
Fav Fabrics: Evenweave & 18 and higher count aida
Dreaded Fabrics: Linen...I like everything to be aligned and uniform.
Want to try Fabrics: Hand dyed and the kind with the sparkles in them
Patterns or Kits: I'm doing a kit at the moment, the last was a pattern, the next is a pattern as well. I like the ease of the kits having everything I need right there. However, I think the detail is much more neat in the patterns. I often find myself adjusting the kit patterns to fill in 1/2 stitches or 1/4 stitches.
Fav Subject Matter: Angels, Christmas (LOVE Christmas colors!), animals, anything that "speaks" to me.
Don't really care for: Fairies and flowery things, mystical stuff
Enjoy: Suzie's Zoo, I don't like cartoon stuff typically, but SZ is my exception. Gifts for other people.
Want to try: An HAED and something that uses different threads & material

Re: Forum Bio's
I'll try to do this although I like most things.
Favourite Colours: blues, purples, pastels
Dislike: muddy or drab colours
Likes
Aida: 14 or 16 count any colour
Evenweave: Love it but can only use 18 or 22 count but not linen
Would like to try using pretty fabrics
Threads:
Mostly use DMC but like anything except DMC light effects
Love Glissen Gloss blending filament
Use more charts than kits but like both.
I like some fantasy, some flowers, most art nouveau. I like the celtic knot sort of patters and things along the lines of the Serendipity Sampler. I'm leaning more to designs than pictures at present.
Dislike cartoony stuff, most faires, and cats.

Re: Forum Bio's
Here is mine:
threads: I mostly have DMC, bt not the full set. Love variegated, too. Have a few silks, adore them but can't really afford them.
fabric: anything really, I have a lot of 14 count Aida, but actually prefer 16 or 18, love evenweave and linen, too.
themes: folk patterns, Celtic and Quaker patterns, old samplers, don't like cute things so much (except AOY) but have a lot of friends with babies, so it's ok, but not really into fantasy. Don't mind kits or charts, but don't like too big things.
Also, like to try out other types of embroidery, different stitches and techniques (Hardanger, blackwork, and would love to try drawn thread)
I don't have favourite colours, love everything, really, it depends on the pattern.

Re: Forum Bio's
I'll play:
Fibers: Mostly DMC, but not B&W. I'm convinced Anchor B&W give better coverage than DMC. Anything from the Caron collection. I enjoy silks when I can afford them. Metallics when needed.
Fabric: I greatly prefer stitching on linen in most cases. I prefer natural cotton evenweaves or evenweaves with as low percentage of poly or other acrylics as possible. No Aida.
Colors: No real preference. I'm partially colorblind, so I tend to miss some of the subtleties.
Themes: I like geometric designs, Asian themes, some mythical, and wintry, muted themes. I have a few select, mostly nontraditional samplers in my collection. I don't usually care for the "primitive" style and dislike stitching most all "cutesy" designs.

Re: Forum Bio's
You know something. I've been here for a while and never got round to this, so here goes.
Favourite colours: Purples, lilacs, pinks, greens, blues, plus any autumnal colours.
Threads: I use DMC. Would love to try silks and other speciality threads.
Fabric. I prefer using evenweave or linen but I do use Aida as well. I'm not fussy about colours.
Favourite Themes: Ladies in costume, fairies/angels (similar to what Joan Elliot does or Mirabilia/Lanarte), disney, animals especially big cats, domestic cats, floral, samplers, cottages/landcapes, will do cute designs (as they'll be great for charity stitching), christmas, seasons and seasonal themes.
Don't like: Fantasy, mystical, celtic, religious, vehicles (cars, trains etc) or any stamped cross stitch designs.
Don't mind kits or charts. Would love to try other embroidery techniques.
I also enjoy crocheting. I mainly use 4 ply, double knitting, not the fine yarns as I find them too fiddly to use.
Can't think of anything else at the monent, but if I do I'll edit this post.
