Looking good! I can imagine with getting quite toasty with that on your lap! Would be really good in the winter though

Thank you, thank you everyone! You are too kind!

Just finished this square this evening. I thought I'd never get all the back-stitching done! But I think this may well end up one of my favorite squares once it's all done.

Image

I can't seem to stitch in total silence, and since I work at my computer desk, I "listen" to movies on Netflix or on dvd that I've seen enough times, I don't have to watch them anymore. The other day, I had "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" on and I found that I really like stitching to bluegrass music!

After I take a couple of days to get caught up on house and yard chores, it will be on to the Lilacs square. Lots of lavendars and purples, so I'm reallu looking forward to it!

very pretty!! I am like that when I stitch too, either listen to tv or my tunes on my mp3 player--which has nearly 2000 songs on it, which vary from Shania Twain to Carrie Underwood to Mariah Carey to Michael Buble to 60's music to Michael Jackson and so on and so forth

Wow, this is gorgeous. The pinks are lovely. Looking forward to the lilacs.

I like to stitch to movies too - I have a vast collection of DVDs, most of which I've seen a lot of times so I can just listen to them as I stitch.

I really loved the magazine this series was in back when it was still published. They had beautiful designs, especially for Christmas. The only problem is that their patterns were a nightmare to read! I'd be a little farther along on the lilacs, but I miscounted a couple of times and had to do a little frogging. :ribbit: I finally broke out a highlighter to keep track of where I am!
About 2/3rds through this square.
Image

There is very pale purple on the lower flower that is difficult to see even with it in my hands! It does have a "lacy" look though , doesn't it? And the best part of this one? No backstitching!
