Well, for better or worse I've finished by Trio of Bears. I fixed the pulled stitch, added the white to their eyes and redesigned the panda's mouth. Overall I'm not happy with the project. To someone who doesn't stitch they won't notice all the little problems. But I see them. I'll post the final picture once I wash and iron the piece. Even though I don't know what I'm going to do with it I'm glad I can cross it off my list.

Next month I think I'll finish my Mother specialty thread project. That's another one I can cross off my list with just a couple of days stitching.
current project rotation:
Twilight Balloon Flight
The Accolade
Faces of Faery 89

Wow Sue, that's looking good. The peppers look like a bit of a tedious pain, but with each one done I bet you can see more progress. :applesauce:

Well, I didn't get as far with Celtic Christmas as I'd hoped, but I guess I did get the big mistake unpicked and sorted, plus a little progress. I have kept it out for now though, cos I think I can finish this pretty quickly. Will post a pic when my phone gets fixed - again! :x

Please can I join?

Am I right in thinking from the 1st - 7th Sept will be the next one? This may just help me work through my pile, yes pile, of WIP's / UFO's!
Happy stitching!

I think I should join the September UFO. I have a ladybug bear that's been sitting for a few months. All that's left is (lots) of backstitching and I HATE backstitching LOL.

You'll never believe this..but I picked up Chessie last night. It's a tad early for UFO week but maybe I'll continue to stitch on him for the next week

I got ambitous also and finished my UFO before the first :applesauce:
I am so happy I no longer have anything hanging over my head (well started anyway). I am currently working on a plastic canvas wall hanging because they are great for in between projects, they finish faster  no more UFO's

I won't be able to join after all. I'm almost through with a wolf I'm stitching for my daughter, and for some reason 12 year olds don't seem to have a lot of patience.

I'm definitely in for this month! My two UFOs are "Let There Be Peace" by Imaginatings (Diane Arthur) and "Oriental Butterfly" by Dimensions.

The "Peace" piece has all stitching done, but needs ironing and the star bead attached. I've been struggling with where/if to put my initials and date on that one... I can't find anywhere to put it that doesn't look out of place. Here's a link to the piece - any suggestions?
http://www.artsanddesigns.com/cgi-bin/v ... =133038776" target="_blank

The Butterfly piece ( http://www.amazon.com/Dimensions-Counte ... B0001DU1RS" target="_blank ) has everything done except for the cording and the kanji down the right side.

I'd love to post some actual pictures of my work, but am still unsure how. Can I upload pictures from my computer, or do I have to go through a secondary site like Snapfish or Photobucket? Can I upload pictures to a gallery on this board and then link to them?

Thanks for any help you can give. We'll see how much I can get done - I have a 2 1/2 year old and an 8 month old, so my stitching time is extremely limited...

Yes you can upload the pics into your own gallery on this site and then if you click where it says post comments on the pic, you should see something that says IMG code. Copy that and then when you are posting on the board, you have to click on Img which is just above where the colors are and it should then look like this

Right in between those two you paste your img code and then you can hit preview to see how it looks on your post.

Hmm sounds way more confusing than it actually is.

Katie, I usually pick a color that is close to the same as the material and stitch my initials and year somewhere that is not obvious
here are my initals
