how come the weekends go by so quickly, usually DH is back to work, but this week he has 3 days off
We had a lovely weekend visiting friends on saturday and then I was with a group of friends yesterday, we meet up once a month and have a "crafty" day, some of us quilt or x stitch others do scrapbooking or knitting or whatever takes our fancy, its just nice to spend the day with like minded friends.
Today we are shopping for paints as we are decorating the front room not DH's favourite job but I really want to brighten it up.
I was outbid at the last minute last night on the internet auction site for a lovely tall real wood bookcase I lost it by £1 ah well there will be others I suppose, if not it will have to be a new one.
Right I am off to spend, see you all later

What a shame about the auction, I got outbid by 50p one but actually as eBay only bids up to the lowest that is necessary to win, their highest bid may well have been a lot higher still (I tend to console myself with that thought when I loose one -- like I lost an auction for 4 metres of Hardanger fabric yesterday )

Sounds like your weekend was a lot of fun! Have fun decorating your front room. Every time we try to do some updating of the house, my husband gets in a bad mood.
