I am a bit worried that mine has been lost, I sent it out so long ago. But my recipient, Newfie Princess, hasn't been on for a long time... Just my luck. My stashmas recipient hasn't said a word either, and that present had to arrive about a week ago the latest...

Don't worry - we've had terrible weather over here and our Poties are having a difficult time of it. Post hasn't been gettinghere from Edinburgh and Glasgow, which is where your biscornu would have gone before coming here. I'm not worried - it'll get here.

Postie just delivered a HUGE package from Tookie. Inside is a box of chocolates, two bobbins of very pretty lace, a bunch of gorgeous threads and the most beautiful biscornu I've ever seen, which will have pride of place at the centre of my table this evening when I have my folks round for Xmas Eve supper!

Thank you, Tookie - I cannot thank you enough for my gift from you - it's so very generous of you and I love it all!

I wonder if mine disappeared? Newfy Princess should have received it by now.

Newfie Princss hasn't responded to the PM I sent, asking if she'd sent and/or received a biscornu, and she hasn't visited the forum since 9th December.

If she hasn't responded by the end of December, I will assume she's not interested and will throw the floor open and ask if anyone would like to stitch a replacement biscornu for her recipient, Dollystitcher. If there aren't any takers, I will happily stitch a repacement myself, but it won't be stitched till the 2nd half of January.

An unfortunate side-effect of this would be that Newfie Princess will not be allowd to take part in any other exchanges I happen to host in the future as it would be unfair for any future recipients to risk similar disapointment.

Of course, if Newie Princess contacts me with a plausible / understandable reason for why the biscornu hasn't been sent, that would be reconsidered.

Please do not worry about replacing the biscornu I should have received Kell. These things happen and I enjoyed making and sending mine, and seeing everyone else's.

Any takers for the replacement stitching? If nobody has posted by this evening, I will stitch something myself in the 2nd half of the month and send it out to you as soon as it's finished.

I could stitch one up. I'm a slow stitcher, so I can't guarantee that it would be finished before the end of January, but it would lighten your load, Kell.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have received my parcel from Newfie Princess, she Pmd me last week and apologised for the delay, which was through no fault of her own. I have posted the pics under 'Has the Postman brought you anything fun', and would just like to thank all of you who were trying to make sure I did not miss out on a gift and also to Newfie Princess, who has sent me the most gorgeous gift which I am thrilled with.
