I find Ebay intimidating and I would prefer to trade or sell designs and magazines in a friendlier setting. Other craft and hobby interests have sites that support both exchange or trade of materials and sale at rates lower then Ebay and even original list price, the lack of posting fees really helps this happen. It seems like a reasonable thing because the goal isn't to make money so much as move literature and materials around. It seems like a good idea, trading or selling what you don't use or want for what you do want.
My husband rounded out his pewter miniature collection on a hobby site that had a swap and sale section. My mother-in-law trades charm squares for quilting to get a wider variety of colors and patterns with people in different states and countries. Charm square circles are common online and when several quilt shops organize exchanges between their customers.
Has anyone seen a place on the web where stitchers exchange? I suppose I could try craigslist.com but I figured I would have a better chance of trading for what I want or selling what I have if the audience was full of stitchers.
Stitchers Swap & Sale Site?

The forum at http://cross-stitching.com has a section for exchanging magazines etc. This might be what you are looking for. Good luck (but remember to come back here too!)
