Hi fellow stitchers I'm new to the forum and have been browsing for a while now and thought I would start my own SAL thread for my new project that I will be starting soon.

I have ordered all the threads and fabric and cannot wait to make a start on her, I just loved this chart the moment I saw it and love Nene's art. It is so huge though so I think it will probably take me forever to stitch it, but I'm very excited to start.

Its so nice to be posting a SAL thread, and cant wait to get chatting to u all.

I have quite a lot of threads for this piece already I found out today but have to wait for my fabric which is a shame, if not I could've started today, I'm very keen to start.

The design is a rather huge 525 x 787 stitches and I'm stitching her on 25 count lugana full crosses over one with one thread. I've done some test stitching and that is the best for me. I wanted to tent stitch her but my coverage was awful and stitches were messy and as I'm a bit of a perfectionist it'll have to be full crosses

Hoping to start this week, just waiting for my parcel to arrive...

My fabric has finally arrived so I can make a start on her tonight, I can't wait.

The floss colours are so beautiful in this, with a vivid splash of deep purple alongside all the muted shades. I printed off quite a few of the pages yesterday, and it suddenly dawned on me how huge this project is....99 large format pages!!

This design speaks to me . Because I have a small tattoo on my back of a sillouette of a girl on a moon and her wings are turquoise and purple. Could you tell me if this design is one you can find and buy anywhere? Please?
