Oh WOW! The magazine chart & photo really does not do this justice. I looked at this in the magazine quite closely actually & still had no idea of the blingy detail!! I'm loving that necklace, it looks amazing. :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

Your piece is coming along beautifully. I am working on her as well, I have the top half done other than the beads, backstitching, and the plume on her hat. I've been thinking of using a special brushed floss for the feather but have to make a 50 mile trip to the stitching shop to find the right one. You are making good speed.

Thanks everyone for the lovely comments!!! I have now finished one side of her jacket!!! Bling and lots of it!!! The point where I stopped her jacket is where the first part of the chart stops. The chart for the second part is apparently off as the mid point isnt the same as part one. So I've stopped where the chart has and I'm going to finish the whole of part one before moving on.

Dont think it'll be too much of a problem as I photocopied the whole chart and have it lined up and taped on my wardrobe door. Still however my O.C.D. wants me to check it 8 times to make sure its right lol!

So onward now! I'm just going to man up and start the corset hopefully tonight!! YAY!

You're right. There was a correction in the magazine a month or so later about this. You seemed to have got it sussed though!!

Not too much progress this week as am back to work and my day off was on pay day!! The shops were calling me!!! However 3 days off next week shall earmark them as stitchy days!!!

Image

Her corset is all but a few beads (that I'm powering through) done. Really loving the shading in this design. The shadows just make it look 3d like!

The dark line at the top of her corset is in fact beads here is a close up but not sure if they stand out too much!

So just about half way yay!!!

Your stitches seem to have so much texture mine always look sorta flat? Maybe I have too much tension who knows? But then people at work look at mine and say how even mine are maybe its that we are our own worst critic!

Wow this is sooo pretty I love the necklace I have yet to mess with beads it looks so daunting!
