So, I finally brought by project home last night so I could snap a few photos.
This is the project I stitch during my lunch hour. I am using B5200 white, and silver petite treasure braid for the dangly bits inside the swirls. My fabric is 25 ct Laguna which feels sooo nice compared to the linen and aida on my last few projects.

And just like the AAN pumpkin I stitched last year, this is a mirror image. Learning from those mistakes, I will stitch the middle part first to make sure the mirror image stays that way.

Beautiful start!! I'm doing the SAL, although I LOVE her designs and can't wait to make one. I will keep your advice in mind about starting in the middle.

Well, thanks to my marathon skype session with Meagan on Friday night I got quite a bit done on this guy.

Heres my progress. This is the full height of the ball.. I thought it would have been taller than this but I like this size. Just a little more on the middle part is left.. and so far, my counts are on.. no pattern adjustments.. yet..
