Y'know, this is going to be the last year you'll be at Ally Pally as a visitor Mabel.

Next year you'll have a stand! Or should!

Aww, thanks  (I'm thinking of taking a few samples in October to show to one or two of the retailers there -- shhh, don't tell anyone :-))

Mabel, I haven't been online for a while and you have produced so many wonderful pieces! Congrats! I am sure very soon we will all be proud of knowing a celebrity designer :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

Another preview -- here is Star of the Sea, complete  It uses a beaded version of the dove's eye filling which looks rather fun close-up.

DH said it reminded him of those 18th century moulded ceilings, and found me some more as inspiration for designs; in most of them the lines are to curved to be easily reproduced in Hardanger, but the shapes have definitely given me ideas :thinks:

Very cool finish Mabel! :applesauce: I think I see what your DH is saying, I can see that pattern arched and in white marble. I really like the colour you chose, beautiful. And so happy to hear you have yet to run out of ideas. :D

Ideas I have -- it's time to stitch them I need :-)! MIL suggested I do three companion pieces to Scotland the Brave, one each for England, Wales and Ireland. I think Tudor may do very well for the English one, and I'm not sure yet about a piece with daffodils and leeks :-), but I'm playing around with several ideas for "Luck of the Irish".

What a great idea from MIL. :D Look forward to seeing those! Shamrock and Harps for Ireland? Or maybe a glass of the dark stuff?

Shamrocks, so far, with a touch of pink for the clover flowers -- not traditionally included, but I didn't want only green :-)
