I thought I would have a nice relaxing break now my stargazer is finished and have a go at a small project. I posted a thread a while ago asking if anyone knew of any nice scottie charts that were not the little ones that are on the bookmarks. Well Rosemary came through for me

and kindly sent me a set of three charts from World of Cross stitch of tartan terriers, there is a scottie, a westie and a yorkie. Luckily my in-laws are obsessed with scotties, my aunt has just recently got a yorkie and some very kind folks who gave us a range cooker for free

are westie mad so I will be stitching all three at some point this year to give as christmas gifts.
Anyhoo I have decided to start with the scottie for my in-laws.
Here is what he will look like
And this is what I have done so far...
I'm really enjoying stitching this, the 14ct aida is much easier on the eye than the 28ct linen I used on my last project and floss is sooooo nice after doing tons of beading with invisible thread, and don't get me started on beading needles
