Aurora's Projects 2011

Post by wtalon »

So...I kept on meaning to get this done...and I kept not. ):

The ballerina one I was all excited about doing the other day... I finished this one in 2.5 weeks because I was trying to get it done /fast/... I'm quite proud of this one. Used a free pattern on DMC's site.

My favorite ballerina- she's purple!

The second project I ever started that I've only been working on for...ten months now? Design Work's Coffee Break that I thought was cute before I realized the size. Really want to get it done before summer's over. Though I'm not looking forward to the back-stitching.
Image

My favorite ones of this set so far must be the mocha and the cafe au lait- the colors are pretty...
Image

Sketchy Janlynn Tinkerbell that I work on and off on that we picked up on clearance at Joann's!
Image

Wallet using some plasticky-black material. Currently working on the biggest panel right now, which is going to be the motif on the left repeated over and over again... Eep.

And that's all the photos I've got... I think once I've got this started, it'll be much easier for me to update. Summer seems to be the perfect burrow 'n stitch time!

:applesauce: for the ballerinas
:applesauce: for the coffee
:applesauce: for Tinkerbell
and for the wallet too.

I think I especially like Tinkerbell, it is so like her.

Fantastic finish on the ballerinas! Good luck on the coffee one, have you tried doing some backstitch, then some more cross stitch and that way you don't have to do all the backstitch at once? Tinkerbell is so cute!

Taking your advice and starting on the stupid outlining of the stupid border... (there is no love lost between me and the border...that in and of itself took me almost half a year and it was boooring...)

Thanks for all the lovely words! (:
