I just received my scroll frames from ebay. 7 sizes for $20 including shipping.

They are the kind you sew your material on to. I was thinking about Qsnaps, but I couldn't pass up this deal.

Woo, I got my stitchmaster stand today :D I've been really falling out with my old stand - it would be great for working with hoops, but can't get a proper grip on my beloved scroll frames. I also have a day off today, I need to do some grocery shopping at some point but really can't leave the house until my laundry is done (busy weekend, didn't have time to do any!) so I think I might just *have* to sit in my craft room, watch the grand prix on iplayer because i forgot to record it yesterday, and stitch and stitch and stitch. It's a hard life really!

You really shouldn't leave that laundry unattended... I think the responsible thing is to stay at home as well

I agree with Faith. You need clean clothes to go to the store and machines shouldn't be on when you aren't home. Therefore, you need to do laundry and stitching while you wait for the laundry to be done is an obvious thing to do.

I don't want to sound too dumb, but what is GAST? Since you said GAST Skeins I would guess they are some type of thread?

I'm using them for this pattern - but I've got lots of American charts that use overdyed threads like Gentle Arts as well as Crescent Colours and Weeks Dye Works.

Both of you have had the postman bring wonderful things recently. I got my Q snaps. Not as much fun or as pretty, but I have really liked using them the past few days.

Thanks for the heads up, their prices are really good! Just ordered some WDW, CC and GAST floss for a Lizzie Kate design I'm just starting, how long did it take for your order to arrive?

Thanks Mrs MBK :) I ordered mine on Sunday and received them today, what excellent service. They are all for a project I'm due to start this week, Lizzie*Kate's Halloween Rules. It's one of the SAL projects over at the Lizzie*Kate Lovers blog, just need to pick which fabric to stitch on now.

Don't they look lovely?
