I was given some money to spend in the Netherlands and found a shop (online) which sells House of Embroidery hand-dyed perles. I chose some pretty colours (although it's difficult to get an accurate picture on the screen) and today they arrived -- they are lovely!
The only thing I am a little disappointed about is that the one combination (the #8 perles come in sets of three shades) for which I ordered all three accompanying #5 perles turned out to be in real life much more alike than they seemed on the screen, so I now have rather a lot of shades of peach . If anyone would like to try these and has some stash to swap, do PM me
Your stash is almost as pretty to look at as your designs. Just lovely. I can't wait to see what you do with them.

Said in the Postman thread I'd take pics of the second half of my House of Embroidery order, and forgot -- but there they all are together, the #5 perle threaded onto wooden rings, the #8 perles on their cards:
Can't wait to see what amazing designs you come up with for those beautiful colors.

Some of these have already got a project assigned to them . The muted pink blue lavender combination, which House of Embroidery have called "Granny", will be used in a design called, uhm, Granny Square , and two of the three pale shades on the far right will be used for a Ukrainian piece called Odessa.
