AARGH! Pirates!

Post by mig-3 »

Finally a couple of finishes. Sue Hillis Designs "Pirates Creed" & "Liberty Pirate" stitched on "Relic" Lugana from Picture this Plus. Hobby Lobby frames. Pinned and laced over acid-free 1/8" foamcore board. I'm not sure about my frame choice, but it was as close as I could find to what I really wanted. They are a bit off-center, but not too much. Close enough for this go around.

:applesauce: Those are great. I think the frames look perfect. They have a kind of "olden" look to them. As if they came from a pirates secret treasure chest! And I bet they were fun to stitch up also.

Thanks everyone. They were quite fun to stitch. I'm glad to see the frames worked. I'm partially colorblind, so Skitzzz acted as my "color eyes" and helped me pick the fabric. :D

Talenaya, I got both charts from "The Stitchworks" in Tulsa, OK.

"Pirate's Creed" helped kill a couple days during a recent hospital stay. I managed to get most of the third mini-mandala finished during that time. Just backstitching and beads left on it.
