Tatty Teddy finish

So pleased, I have a finish!



There should be a few more butterflies, but need to get it framed and to my friend. Also, I really didn't enjoy this. I started a different sampler but had an accident with a cup of tea..... I was so upset (lesson learnt the hard way!) I decided to start something new as I couldn't face re-starting the tea stained piece. Hopefully my friend will like it though, and now I can get ready to start the first project I will be making for me!

Congratulations on your lovely finish.Sorry to hear about your tea accident...a stitchers nightmare along with visits, and that you didn't enjoy this one much. I'm sure your friend will love it though.

Lovely job, especially since you didn't really love stitching it. Those are the hardest ones, but really does make the gift special. Sorry to hear about the tea. I dread my coffee and/or tea spilling on mine.
What are you planning on doing next? I will look forward to seeing it.

Thanks everyone! Next project is a wedding photo that Skitzzzz charted for me. Can't wait to get started, just gathering supplies. Might try and finish a couple more xmas cards to keep me busy until then

I love tatty teddy but i never stitch him on aida... too many backstitches there... find it easier to do them on linen or evenweave...
