Thanks, I did happen to find a website explaining how to stitch over 2. It's a bummer to have to start completely over, but at least I'll be doing it right.

I'm glad you have found a nice tutorial and so happy that you are going to start this again--sad that you had to do so, but I know that you will be much happier with the end results!
