I have been working diligently on this piece. I am now halfway through my 10hr rotation on it. This is it's 3rd time in rotation.
As you can see, I'm not very far along, but I am very proud of it, non-the-less. I seem to have gotten the hang of parking my threads, as well as working on 25ct.
All I can say is,"WHEW" Took some time and lots of determination (stubborness???) but I'm there. I don't see anything holding me back again.
Thank you to all who didn't give up on your own projects and posted pics of your progress. I learned from each and every one of you! And all the advice and encouragements ... well ... I wish I could give everyone a great - BIG - giant- hug

looks great. I am very impressed with your parking also. I am definitely going to be paying attention to this one as I have it in my stash. Going to go on the dragon afghan at some point (I hope). Keep the updates coming.

As for parking, well, I read about it over and over again, and thought about it over again some more. Then I had to forget my usual way of stitching (cross-country) because whenever I had the needle in my hand and there was a stitch in sight, I couldn't do it if it was to be parked. (aack)
At this time, I don't really have alot of threads dangling, so it's not too bad.
Anyway. Thanks for letting me share...

Great update. That is what I love a out the HAEDs. All of a sudden there it is, looking like its supposed to. I am always amazed. When a face or an ear or a bonnet appears it is so cool. I am sure that happens with other designers, but usually it seems like I had to wait for back stitching to finish the image. I am looking forward to this one coming up in your rotation again.

Beautifful Pattie ! It always amazes me that a group of tiny stitches, all different colours, can actually turn into something with HAEDs - that eye looks so cool!
