Nice to be back

Post by fiddler »

Hi everyone
I have not been around for a while as we have been on holiday. First we went to Italy and had glorious weather !0 days after we came back we went to Ireland ,that was going home. We had a good time visiting friends and relations and meeting new ones we have a new great nephew Zachary. We visited the new Titanic museum In Belfast. It was wonderful, it took you right through from the planning to the sinking. Very impressive.

I missed logging on to see what you were all doing. I have caught up with my poppy fairy, Will send some up dates when I get my camera to work.

A question for you ladies why is it that you can be someone's Wife mother, grandmother but when in the company of some family members you feel as if you are 6 years old again!!!!

Looking forward to any pictures you want to share! (That Titanic museam sounds fascinating!)

Yes, some people in my family make EVERYONE feel like they're 6...so I just don't have anything to do with them!

All a matter of relativity (that is supposed to be a sort of pun) Years ago when Hurricane Wilma hit Florida, my husband (who was in his late 60's and on medicare) and me (retired and in my late 50's then) drove down to help my Father and Step mom (both in their 80's). My Dad would tell his friends "The kids are here to help us". Some things never change.

Sounds like you have been doing lots of traveling!!!!! Would love to see that Titanic Museum.

I will always be someones little sister same as I will always have a baby brother. It doesn't fuss me much to be refered to in certain terms. Don't let it worry you.

Yes but our kids are always our kids no matter how old they are.

Glad you had a great time on holiday and then catching up with family and friends in Ireland.

Looking forward to seeing the updates of the Poppy Fairy. I just sent that chart off to someone on here in the last few days but still have Cinderella sitting here waiting for a new home if you are interested please PM me your address.

Sounds like you had a lovely time, and the Titanic museum must be so interesting!

on the family note, my in-laws still refer to their son and three daughters (ranging from 50 to nearly 60) collectively as "the children" or (if they are all present, and misbehaving :-)) "you children"

Glad you are back it sounds like you've had a brilliant time I'll certainly check out the Titanic museum when I go to Ireland again as its cheap as chips to pop across.
I'm looking forward to seeing 'Poppy Fairy' too.
