Very nice update on this!! I'm amazed at how much you've been able to do on this and in such a short amount of time. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and Derrick, as well as his family. I know that having you there for him is most likely the best medicine he could have

:applesauce: 6 days for one page filled with confetti is amazing. And this is looking beautiful. I'm glad that your friend is settled in a place that can take proper care of him. It sounds as if he has more lucid moments now than when he was in a medical ward. It is so hard to deal with a loved one who isn't really himself due to the illness and the medications. And it is also sad that his kids from the previous marriage aren't able to overcome whatever issues they have. In the long run they will be the ones to suffer because of it. You are an amazing friend and I know that both husband and wife are so very appreciative. And this is a good place to come to sort out your feelings and to get the support and comfort you need too.

My MIL asked me to cross stitch Miracle Horses for her and I told her I would eventually… but I’m dreading it. You’re making great progress and it looks beautiful!

Also, why did they cancel Firefly? I mean, it was such an awesome show! 8)

Jewel, it's really not that bad, there aren't that many colours so if you break it up in say blocks of 6 and cross county stitch it's fun. It's overwhelming s all of these types of charts are when you look at a new page but breaking them down helps. Plus colouring in the symbols you are doing before you do them. I shade out the ones I've done with pencil. I have poor concentration so I must needs make my charts very obvious to me!

I also find that blowing the charts up helps as well.

It's one of the most magnificent pieces of work I have done and it's not even finished!!

As for Firefly, one of the biggest crimes of television it being cancelled!!
