Sewing Patches!!!!!

Seriously, sewing patches on trousers is a nightmare but when there trousers for a 2 year old it just makes it worse!!!!

However mission accomplished!!!!!

well done. Pretty patches too. Watch out or she'll rip more trousers so she can get more pretty patches! (That's what I would have done

Thanks Carole, I brought some packs of quilting patches when I was pregnant off eBay. I never got round to doing what I had planned for them but there coming in useful for something!!!

At least you bothered to sew on patches.

I'm too lazy and just let them run around with holes in their pants until they out grow them and get new ones. Although I may have to rethink that now that Big One isn't changing sizes every season....

She went through the knee second time of wearing and if I don't patch them she pulls and pulls at the holes until she's destroyed them!!!!

Lol my Mum made me overalls ... of course that had a bit to do with the fact that I got into car motors with Dad and didn't just get holes but grease and oil too.

And I thought children's clothes were fairly indestructible. The number of times my 21 month old is either falling over, climbing on something or otherwise crawling into tight spaces to get something, I wonder how his trousers are all still whole, but they're fine. Just as well, I'm not sure that I could manage to patch them if they needed it!
